About us

Rusk Eel Canning is a food company based at Salzhafen in The Sudmark. The company was founded on 12 November 1982 by Klaus Rusk and has traded for 38 years.

Since its founding Rusk Eel Canning has grown into one of the leading names in the food sector. Our head office remains at Salzhafen, where it all began.

Our founder. Klaus Rusk, programmer, was born at Vellmar on 8 May 1930 and died on 25 May 2017.

Our history

The company's books have been kept at Chapel Quay since the registered office was fixed there, and the timeline below is compiled from them and from the press.

What we do

Rusk Eel Canning operates in the food trade, serving Salzhafen and the surrounding country. Particulars of current lines are available on application to the registered office.

We offer tinned eel, reed-root and preserved goods to customers throughout the country.
